Funeral service planned Saturday for Greg Claxton
The Montague County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was found Saturday at a well site located off Seldom Seen Road.
A 911 call came into the sheriff’s office shortly before 9 a.m. on Feb. 14 from a pumper who had found his co-worker collapsed on a catwalk at the well site.
Officers found deceased at the scene Gregory Claxton, 29, Nocona. He was a drive for Twin Eagle, formerly Gold Spur Company. Justice of the Peace Karen Reynolds pronounced him dead and the body was sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner for an autopsy. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Abundant Life Church in Nocona. Read the full story in the mid-week News.
