HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS: Gunter, Gonzalez take mixed doubles title

Bowie competed at the Sanger Tournament last week, and had some success. Cameron Gunter and Maria Gonzalez were the mixed doubles champions. Kaleb Degler and Sergio DeLeon teamed up for third place in the boys’ doubles draw. Michael Shaw was the consolation champion in boys’ singles. The girls’ event was rained out. Bowie will compete in the Tioga Invitational at Hamilton and Weeks Park in Wichita Falls next Tuesday and Thursday. Click on the image itself for the complete photo.
