on

May’s heavy rains may have delayed the Montague County Relay for Life, but teams are ready to walk on June 27 at the Harley Sewell Football Field in Saint Jo.

This year the relay has moved its start time up to mid-day at noon June 27 and it will run until midnight.

The traditional survivor’s lap opens the relay, followed by a survivor and caregiver lap.

Those registered to take part will enjoy a light concession stand lunch after the opening ceremony.

The rest of the afternoon will be filled with activities for the entire family and music from a deejay DJ. as a backdrop to teams walking the track. Read more about the relay in the mid-week News.
