COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Lone Star Festival tickets on sale today

Tickets for the Lone State Football Festival go on sale at the Midwestern State University athletic office in Wichita Falls today.
There will be three college football games at AT&T Stadium on Sept. 19.
Midwestern State squares off against Eastern New Mexico at 11:30 a.m., followed by West Texas A&M against Tarleton State at 3:30 p.m. and finally Angelo State plays Bacone (Okla.) in a nonconference game at 7:30 p.m.
A ticket to the festival is good for admission to each of the three games; however, no re-entry is permitted.
Discounted advance tickets purchased from MSU are $25 for adults and $10 for students.
For tickets, call 1-940-397-4779. Any tickets mailed incur a $3 handling fee.
Tickets purchased through AT&T Stadium’s box office or Ticketmaster cost $30 for adults and $15 for students.
This will mark the fifth appearance for Midwestern State in the festival.

Richey headed to National Finals

Bowie’s Cason Richey (right) and his horse Hello Lashes, qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo this month. Richey competes in team roping as a part of the Texas Tech University rodeo team as a freshman. The CNFR is scheduled for June 15-21 at Casper, WY.
