Driver crashed into RAC, goes inside building
A car crashed into the Rent-A-Center location in Bowie Plaza at 3:20 p.m. Thursday. Bowie Police Officer Cody Stone investigated the accident. Lillie Sutton, 76, Bellevue, was driving north in Bowie Plaza when she was preparing to park in front of RAC and mistook the gas for the brake pedal. The car jumped the curb crashing through the front wall inside the building coming to rest in front of a bank of televisions. There were no injuries. (News photo by Eric Viccaro)
