LOCAL: Tillery represents Bowie at roller hockey worlds

Cole Tillery, a 2015 Bowie High School graduate, is one of 10 United States roller hockey players who will compete for his country at the World Championships.
Sixteen teams from five continents will meet in Villanova, Spain for the under-20 World Roller Hockey Championships.
Team USA will take on Spain, Switzerland and Angola in the preliminary rounds.
Host country Spain will take on England in the first match.
Team USA includes players from Pennsylvania, Washington, Alaska and five players from the Lone Star State – including both goalies.
Tillery is a versatile performer who can play forward or defense; he scored a hat trick during a game against Olympia, Wash., during the national championships.
Tillery, along with Team USA teammate Justin Bradford, were members of the 2015 senior bronze division national championship team representing Decatur.
Gabe Allen and John Jones, also of Montague County, were on this team. Allen is a junior at Bowie High School.
