HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Forestburg takes consolation

District 1A-21 foes Forestburg and Prairie Valley had the unenviable task of playing each other in a non-district setting on Saturday at the Chico Tournament.
In the end, Forestburg proved too much for Prairie Valley 53-28.
“Both teams fought hard, and never quit,” said Forestburg head coach Steve Sandusky. “Both teams should be better when we meet again.”
Sandusky said Forestburg played aggressive on defense, and moved the ball well on offense.
Forestburg’s Bear Osteen was named to the all-tournament team. Read more in The Bowie News.
