County veterans’ monument needs additional slab

Published

on

The Montague County Veterans Monument on the courthouse square is quickly running out of space and there is a need to add another slab of granite to the marker.

County Veteran Service Officer Colm Murphy said it will take the community to support the addition.

“We know we cannot do this work alone, and we are incredibly grateful to our donors for your support. Your donation will help preserve the legacy, and sacrifices that have been made by the men and women of our Armed Forces,” said Murphy.

If you would like more information call the Montague Veterans Service Office at (940) 894-6171 or email [email protected].

Please make checks payable to Montague Veterans Monument and mail to: P.O. Box 103, Montague TX 76251
