HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Bellevue girls prevail

Megan Brown netted a Bellevue-best 15 points, including a perfect 3-of-3 from the free-throw line, as Bellevue defeated Saint Jo 49-23 in District 1A-21 action Friday.
Devon Cassetty and FreeDom Morris added eight points apiece.

Slidell 57, Gold-Burg 32
Slidell established a 20-point lead by halftime en route to a comfortable District 1A-21 win over Gold-Burg on Friday.
