Forestburg High School’s Alexia Britain is becoming one of the most powerful post players not only in District 1A-21, but also North Texas.
Britain’s skills were on display yet again on Friday as she nearly outscored Bellevue all by herself as the Lady Horns dispatched the homestanding Lady Eagles 60-32.
Britain netted 27 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for yet another double-double, and Forestburg (9-7, 6-1) took control of second place in 1A-21.
“She took away anything under the basket, to five maybe even seven feet out,” Bellevue head coach Bryan Goehring said of Britain’s defense. “She was a huge factor in the game.” Read more in The Bowie News.
