HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Forestburg boys stay alive

The Forestburg High School boys’ basketball team remained alive for a Conference 1A postseason berth with a 65-54 victory over Midway on Friday.
The Longhorns are in a tie for third place with Slidell in District 1A-21.

Bellevue’s Jakob Watkins paced all scorers with 31 points, including 10-of-11 from the free-throw line, as the Eagles topped Saint Jo by 26 in this District 1A-21 game.
