HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: Bowie lowers Heights

Kalee Case smacked a triple and Hannah Wilson plated two runs as the Bowie High School softball team defeated Arlington Heights 5-3 in a scrimmage on Saturday.
Jayde Brezina and Kellbie Throckmorton both smacked two hits for the Lady Rabbits. Five different players had one RBI apiece.
Thockmorton and Case split time in the circle, giving up three earned runs on four hits with five walks and three strikeouts. The girls threw 95 pitches, 53 of them for strikes (55.8 percent). Read more, and see the box score, in the Feb. 10 Bowie News.
