Bowie woman jailed; accused of selling weed
A 62-year-old Bowie woman suspected of selling marijuana was arrested on April 6.
Bowie Police Detective Josh Wolfe said after developing probable cause the police executed a search warrant at Glenda Carpenter’s home at 517 Hutchinson on Wednesday evening.
Wolfe entered the residence and spoke with Carpenter. Officers found one and a half intact bricks of marijuana and an amount of crumbled marijuana in a baggie.
The marijuana totaled 17.8 ounces with a street value of about $1,600. Carpenter was arrested. Read the full story in the weekend News.
