TENNIS: Forestburg duo wins in doubles

Trevor Vann and Riley Sandusky from Forestburg won the boys’ doubles division at the District 1A-21 tennis tournament on Saturday in Bellevue.
Seth DeLeon from Tioga was the boys’ singles champion with Holton Leach from Midway second and Cash Howell of Prairie Valley taking third.
In girls’ singles, Jasmine Jones of Bellevue was the winner with Jackie Hanna of Montague taking second.
Nicole Tinerella and Ashlyn Smith from Gold-Burg also placed among the top-four.
Slidell teams were second and third in boys’ doubles and first and second in girls’ doubles.
