Storm water damages business roof
Heartland Gift Shop closed temporarily early this week as repairs were made to the roof of the building located at 120 W. Wise. Building owner Kasey Denson said a drain got stopped up and water backed up on the roof going over the flashing. The water pressure blew a hole in the roof and caused damage to the interior beams. Denson said they also tore down part of the front facade. Store owners hope to be back in business by mid-week. (Photo by Barbara Green)
