HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: Lady Panthers break out brooms

The Lady Panthers accomplished a straight three-game victory over Savoy on Tuesday evening, defeating the visiting team by 25-20, 25-22 and 25-21 at “The Dome.”
“The girls were more scrappy; which is what we have been focusing on in practice,” said head coach Charlie Pittman. “They were struggling with service receive, but I’m hoping as the season continues that will improve significantly.”
Saint Jo trailed the Lady Cardinals in the third game, appearing Savoy would have the victory. Read more in the Aug. 27 Bowie News.
