The Bowie High School volleyball team continued its strong non-district play on Tuesday with a four-game victory over Millsap.
The Lady Rabbits won by scores of 25-10, 23-25, 25-8, 25-18.
“Millsap played very clean in the second set,” Bowie head coach Jeanie Stark said. “Their passes were on target and they served very tough.”
Stark admitted Bowie let down some in the second game.
“We sometimes let down in the second set,” Stark said. “It’s something we are addressing every day, the up and down issue.”
Bowie needs to correct this now, especially with the district slate starting in two weeks time.
Still, the Lady Rabbits improved to 10-7 overall. The varsity group is off this weekend, and will return courtside on Aug. 30 at Ponder.
Bowie’s losses this season have all come against staunch competition. Read more in the Aug. 27 Bowie News.
