Curtis Eldridge

By Dani Blackburn
Saint Jo Independent School District has welcomed its former high school principal Curtis Eldridge as its new superintendent.
Eldridge replaces Larry Smith who retired at the end of last school year. As Eldridge enters his twenty-fourth year in education, he hopes to bring positive energy to Saint Jo ISD.
“I strongly believe in a very positive, high energy environment,” said Eldridge. “Charisma, energy and a positive attitude are important, along with a true respect for students and their interests.”
The 44-year-old is a graduate of Marcus High School in Flower Mound, although the rural community he graduated from looks much different today with a population of more than 62,000 people.

Meet the new Saint Jo superintendent by reading the full feature in the mid-week News.
