Fire significantly damages mobile home
City of Bowie firefighters battled this mobile home blaze Monday morning at 500 Decatur Street Lot No. 3. Fire Chief Doug Page said the fire appears to have started outside of the trailer. Neighbors saw the fire and warned Michael Day one of the tenants who was inside. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Page said there is extensive heat and smoke damage throughout the trailer. Firefighters tossed out several pieces of smoldering furniture. (News photo by Barbara Green)
