Three additional names have been added to the 27 arrested by Bowie and Nocona Police, Montague County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Public Safety in a county-wide warrant roundup on Oct. 11.
The day was a joint effort by local departments who worked together to serve a high number of warrants and seek out wanted persons in the county.
“Everyone helped each other. It was a coordinated effort by the departments involved and that is why it was so successful,” said Montague County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Jack Lawson.
Silver Shadow Stewart, 22, was arrested for a complaint theft by the Montague County Sheriff’s Office.
Lace Burr, 30, arrested on a motion to proceed- possession of a controlled substance in penalty group one, less than one gram.
Timothy Ketchum, 40, arrested on a warrant for a complaint of driving while intoxicated.
In addition to the 27 arrests, the four departments served a total of 101 warrants. Six of the warrants served became on view arrests, and two were stopped on traffic violations, but had warrants.
