County commissioners begin updates to subdivision rules

Montague County Commissioners have begun the process of updating the subdivision rules and regulations and if there are no major obstacles it could be in place by spring 2019.
Members of the court met Tuesday for a workshop with its legal counsel, Bob Bass of Allison, Bass & Magee, LLP, Austin. The agenda addressed a pair of topics, subdivision regulations and the pending 2021 redistricting.
Commissioners spent almost two hours reviewing subdivision regulations and after lunch touched briefly on redistricting that will be coming in 2021 after the 2020 census.
