on

The City of Bowie Fire Department will conduct its “30 Guns in 30 Minutes,” fundraiser at 5 p.m. on Aug. 10 at the fire hall located at 203 Walnut.
Tickets are $100 each and only 300 tickets will be sold. All proceeds go toward upgrading the department’s handheld radios. Names are drawn every minute to win one of the guns in the list.
Guns will be given a number prior to the day of the drawing. On the day of the drawing 30 cards with numbers will be put in the hopper. The order in which these cards are drawn indicates what order the firearms will be drawn.
Participants must be 21 years of old to be eligible to win. There are no substitutions and the winner must be able to pass a federal firearm background check.
If the person does not pass the prize is awarded to an alternate.
Ticket holders are not required to be present to win. Ticket holders who attend an open house that day will have additional chances to win and there will be a separate drawing for 30/30 ticket holders.
The list of guns to be given away in the prize drawing cover all the top brands including Ruger, Browning, Mossberg, Savage, Remington. Additional details can be found at the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page.
Tickets are available from any volunteer firefighter or at the fire hall, call 872-2122.Pat incidui euis at.
