Rotary Club raises $4,000

The Bowie Rotary Club had its Happy Feet Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday at Bowie’s Twisted Oaks Golf Club.
Played in a three man golf scramble format, more than 50 competitors showed up to compete and raised about $4,000.
The winners of flight one were Kasey Denson, Cal Wells and Tracie Morris.
Flight two winners were Jerry Rogers, Charlie Johnson and Brad Crimin.
The winners of flight three included Travis Price, Tyler Price and Ryan Price.
Other contest included closest to the pin, won by Jordan Shaw Cal Wells and Randy West.
The longest putts winners were Billy Toft Sr., Harold Pitchford and Terry Gunter.
In the driving contests, the longest drive went to Bowie High School player Parker Price. The straightest drive winner was Jack Howell.
