It was another brief meeting for the Bowie City Council Monday night wrapping up the fiscal year and approving items at the library.
Fiscal 2019-20 closes out Sept. 30 as the council approved the second reading of the budget amendment for $490,865. The largest portion stems from tornado clean-up, which is expected to see a few late bills trickle in.
The bills include $270,000 for electric crews to help restore power, plus the replacement of 16 transformers and supplies that required an additional $100,000 for its budget.
