Brief agenda awaits Bowie City Council Monday

The Bowie City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Sept. 28 for a brief agenda of business.
In topics previously on the agenda, the planning and zoning commission will offer its recommendation on a replat request from Eddie Biles for lots in the Tanglewood Subdivision. The zoning commission has previously denied the request asking for additional information.
The second reading of the ordinance amending the budget for 2019-20 will be presented. The largest part, nearly $500,000 is attributed to tornado clean-up and supplies.
In new business, a proxy and alternate for the Nortex Regional Planning Commission will be considered.
Two library board members will be named and an updated library policy manual for hotspot and laptop checkouts will be reviewed by the council.
