Texas Senate early voting will end on Friday

Early voting for the emergency election to fill the Texas Senate District 30 seat is going strong with 874 ballots cast as of 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Early voting will continue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 25 at: Bowie Bible Baptist Church, H.J. Justin Community Room in Nocona, Saint Jo Civic Center and Montague County Courthouse Annex Community Room.
Votes may be cast at any of the four locations since Montague County operates with countywide voting.
There are six candidates on the ballot. Jacob Minter is the only Democratic candidate. Republican candidates include Chris Carter, Andy Hopper, Shelley Luther, District 68 State Rep. Drew Springer and Chris Watts. All the candidates are listed together.
