Nocona City Council to meet on Feb. 28

Members of the Nocona City Council will meet in called session at 8 a.m. Feb. 28 for a workshop and a regular agenda with three topics including one tabled from the Feb. 8 meeting.
The returning topic is a request from the Nocona Economic Development Corporation (Type A) to participate in a Type B board project in the amount of $37,824 ($18,912 per board) to upgrade all four Nocona Little League fields.
At the prior meeting, Councilor Donnie Davis voiced concerns about the project and added he had missed the most recent NEDC meeting, so he had questions.
