No one injured in two-vehicle accident

Two vehicles were involved in this noon-time accident on Nov. 9 at the U.S. 287 and Farm-to-Market Road 1125 bridge. Christopher Cline, 48, Wichita Falls, was driving a Ford Expedition on the southbound access road and approached the stop sign. Police report Cline thought it was a four-way stop and he did not see the Dodge Ram driven by Holly Hall, 21, Andrews, IN who was northbound on FM 1125. County moves funds to DA, district clerk to continue catch-up

Montague County is having to spend more money to assist the new 97th District Attorney to clean up the mess left by her predecessor who reportedly refused to use the case management software purchased for the district.
Almost two years later the former system, LGS, was cancelled for the county, but the DA’s office still needs to access some cases on that system. The new company, Tyler Technology, has quoted a six-figure price to transfer the files over, but DA Katie Boggeman told the commissioner’s court Monday they have got a solution but it will cost.

The Bowie City Council has cancelled its Jan. 14 meeting due to a lack of a quorum. No date has been announced for the next meeting, but the regular date would be Jan. 28.
