Tribute to the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks
Inside today find a special section Remembering 9/11 on the 25th anniversary of this pivotal day in America’s history.
This section provides an hour by hour account of that day to inform those who may not familiar with the details. We pay tribute to all those who faced the attacks and helped save those in danger from all walks of life. May this tribute remind you of all America lost that day and how the country moved forward.
On Monday the staff and students of Bowie Elementary took time to remember Avery Kelley, age 5 and a kindergarten student at the school, was killed in a car accident along with her mother on Sept. 25 in Archer County. The staff posted this colorful video on Facebook.

The Oct. 9-11 Art of the Song Music and Art Festival is gearing up for three days of art and entertainment in downtown Nocona.
The festival opens on Oct. 9 with a Chisholm Trail Art Association Preview Party from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the H.J. Justin Building.
Come see all the entries for the adult show, which formally opens at 10 a.m. on Oct. 10. The Mind’s Eye will perform during the party.
