Forestburg ISD Board meets Monday

The Forestburg Independent School District Board of Trustees will have a meeting at 6 p.m. on July 28, in the school library located at 16346 FM 455 in Forestburg.

During the meeting, the trustees will accept bids for gas, diesel and propane and adopt insurance measures for the 2014-15 academic calendar.

Other topics include the website, the forthcoming watermelon festival, budget and school security. The date for the school board retreat will be set.

The board will listen to reports from the athletic director, principal and superintendent. Personnel, covering contracts and resignations, will be discussed at the end of the meeting during an executive session with any action to follow.
