Bowie ISD to consider buying former stadium/practice field property
Bowie School Trustees will meet in called meeting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 10 for an executive session to discuss personnel and a possible real estate transaction.
Superintendent Steven Monkres said the agenda lists after the closed session consideration and discuss possible action on purchasing approximately 5.78 acres of land in the Bowie area for school purposes. Read more on this story in the weekend News.
The following indictments were filed with the 97th District Clerk following the November session of the Montague County Grand Jury.
There were a total of 13 indictments with one sealed awaiting the arrest of a suspect.
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
