BOWIE ROUNDUP: Rabbit teams sweep Jacksboro, JH 7’s win
The Bowie High School junior varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams swept Jacksboro on Tuesday at home.
The boys claimed a 73-20 conquest while the girls won just as easily, 50-11.
In the boys’ game, Bowie rolled to a 30-point halftime lead and Josh Monkres tossed in 19 points.
Madison Hill, fresh from her varsity start on Friday at Nocona, totaled 21 points and the Lady Rabbits kept Jacksboro to two points apiece in the second, third and fourth quarters.
