BOWIE SUBVARSITY REPORT: Boys’ JV Maroon wins again

The Bowie High School Junior Varsity Maroon team continued its sizzling play on Friday at Paradise as the Jackrabbits downed the Panthers 56-38.
Both Dillon Swaim and Josh Monkres netted 14 points for JV Maroon.
Paradise defeated Bowie’s JV White team by a count of 51-32.
Hunter Kirkham and Cody Byler both tossed in 10 points.
Lauren Gill scored six points in the Bowie girls’ 36-23 loss at Paradise. There was no freshman girls’ game played.

Richey headed to National Finals

Bowie’s Cason Richey (right) and his horse Hello Lashes, qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo this month. Richey competes in team roping as a part of the Texas Tech University rodeo team as a freshman. The CNFR is scheduled for June 15-21 at Casper, WY.
