Congressman visits Bowie, provides update on D.C. activities
By BARBARA GREEN
His first two months as chairman of the House Armed Services Committee have been very active for Congressman Mac Thornberry as Congress deals with terrorism, scandals in the Secret Service and Veterans Affairs, all coupled with the ongoing battle of derisive Washington politics.

On Tuesday, he visited with the Leadership Montague County group providing a Washington D.C. update. He also toured the North Central Texas College Bowie campus and American Hat Company in Bowie.
