HIGH SCHOOL RANKINGS: Bowie baseball 10th in Class 3A

With such a hot start to the season, the Bowie High School baseball team was bound to receive recognition for it.
The Jackrabbits were ranked 10th in the latest Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Conference 3A poll.
The poll was released on Thursday, March 19.
Bowie currently stands at 12-1-2 on the season. Sunnyvale tops the poll with Troy in second.
Sunnyvale also leads the Txhighschoolbaseball.com poll while Bowie sits in 18th. The Jackrabbits are the only team in District 3A-9 to be ranked.
Meanwhile, the Bowie softball and Nocona baseball and softball teams are unranked this week.
Shiner leads the Texas Girls Coaches Association Conference 2A softball poll with a record of 13-3, and Beckville is second (9-2). Windthorst is sixth and Petrolia sits ninth in the same poll. Read more in the mid-week Bowie News.
