Jacksboro was hanging around against the Bowie High School girls’ basketball team on Friday evening.
That was until Henslee Ogle made several 3-pointers late in the second quarter to give the Lady Rabbits some breathing room – en route to an eventual 66-38 victory over the Tigerettes in this District 3A-9 contest.
Ogle’s 3-pointers helped Bowie stay ahead of Jacksboro, and Ogle finished the game going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.
“She gave us a burst of energy just before halftime,” Bowie head coach Colby Davis-Pastusek said. “We were able to find her, and give her the ball.” Read more, and see the box score, in the Feb. 10 Bowie News.
