Spring gardening series announced
The City of Bowie Community Center, Red River Master Gardeners and Texas Agri-Life Extension present “The Gardening Classes.”
The class schedule is as follows:
Feb. 25: “Outdoor/Indoor plant success”
March 17: “Vegetables for North Texas and soil testing/fertilizing for success”
March 31: Water, water everywhere”
April 21: “Container Gardening”
May 12: “Deer resistant and/or butterfly attractors”
May 26: “Organic vs. conventional insecticides, herbicides and rodenticides, etc.”
The classes begin at 5:30 p.m. in the East Hall of the community center, 413 Pelham St. The cost is $15 per class. You may pick and choose which topics interest you the most and attend those classes. Everyone is welcome.
The speakers are experts in their field and are scheduled by the Agli-Life Extension office. For further information or questions call 940-872-3785.
