Extension service conducting predator workshop

Each year there is a concern for how to control predators that are encroaching on the lands and harming livestock.
The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service of Montague and Clay counties are hosting an educational program to address some of those issues.
The date will be April 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rayford Pullen’s home 17516 Hwy. 287 south in Bellevue.
The program will consist of trapping and snaring, legal control methods of predators, game laws, and feral hog management. Three continuing education units will be offered for those with private applicators license.
RSVP by April 20 for meal count.
