STATE MEET INFORMATION

What: Conference 6A-1A State Track and Field Meet

Where: Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas, Austin.

When: Thursday-Saturday, May 12-14.

Tickets: $12 per session for adults; $7 for students; All-session pass is $30; Saturday only ticket, $15; $20 for Sessions Four and Five on Saturday. Ticket sales are cash or check only, and make checks payable to the University of Texas. Parking costs $10 in most places.

What’s At Stake: Medals, winners get gold, second-place individuals and teams earn silver and third-place individuals and teams take bronze. Also, top performers get to stand on the podium and revel in the glory.

Area State Qualifiers: Zeke Vaughan, Bowie; Cheyenne Banks and Skyler Sandusky, Forestburg; and Sarah Patrick, Saint Jo.

6:45 p.m., Conference 3A boys’ 110-meter high hurdles, Zeke Vaughan, Bowie
8:45 p.m., Conference 3A boys’ 300-meter intermediate hurdles, Zeke Vaughan, Bowie

Saturday, May 16

1:45 p.m., Conference 1A boys’ 400-meter dash, Skyler Sandusky, Forestburg
