Pursuit ends in ‘meth’ arrest

In what Saint Jo Police Chief Tyler Roy described as “the worst high-speed chase he has been involved in,” a pursuit through Montague and Clay Counties Sunday afternoon led to the arrest of Chad Lawson of Vernon.
Roy reported Saint Jo Officer Michael Montgomery about 2:45 p.m. stopped the 33-year-old Lawson Sunday afternoon for failure to stop and an expired vehicle registration. The suspect fled the scene on Highway 82 with the pursuit entering the city limits of Nocona.
