Wise Hope Crisis conducts candlelight vigil

A candlelight vigil was presented at the Wise Hope Crisis Shelter location in Bowie Tuesday night.Brittany Mott, director of the Wise Hope Shelter located in nearby Bridgeport, told those attending some details about how the shelter operates and serves families in crisis. Ginger Johnsonserves as branch office supervisor. A pair of ladies also shared their stories of how they escaped abusive relationships. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Those with questions are invited to stop by the office at the corner of State Highway 59 and Greenwood Streets. The crisis hotline is available at 940-626-4855.
