Montague County Commissioners will apply for their portion of the County Transportation Infrastructure Fund when the process opens April 27.
The court met via video conference for its regular second Monday session.
During the original CTIF program in 2014, Montague County received $2,664,128 in state funds to repair roads damaged by energy production primarily stemming from the Barnett Shale push. The State Legislature had allocated $224,500,000 for the funds.
The 2020 round has about $250 million budgeted to be allocated across 254 counties. Lewis said he and Commissioner Bob Langford attended a school about the application process and learned the county may receive $365,179 in the 80(state)-20 (county) match program.
