Published

on

Katie Morman, principal at Saint Jo Junior and High School campus for the past nine years, has been officially named superintendent starting June 5.
Board President Leeton Phillips announced her selection at the Feb. 16 board meeting, following the required waiting period after she was named the lone finalist. Retiring Superintendent Curtis Eldridge announced his intention to retire earlier this year, and the district began accepting resumes.
“Through teamwork with the board, administration and faculty I plan to see us build on the successes the district has already accomplished. There is little doubt the positive impact our school can play in the continued progress of our great community. I love my Panthers and cannot wait to see what the future holds for the best 1A district in Texas,” said Morman.

The Supertunia Tiara duo debuted in 2025 and in this brief amount of time has become the darling of the landscape. The love and admiration from gardeners across the country including my area of West Georgia and East Alabama has been nothing short of wow.
As much as gardeners treasure their Supertunia Vista Bubblegum petunias, Supertunia Pink Tiara and Blue Tiara are here to say look at me! Oh yes, and both are building a trophy case with awards.
At first, it would seem the Supertunia Tiara Petunias were designed with the artist gardener in mind. While that could be true it is most likely that these petunias are so unique and beautiful that any combination or application you try simply looks ready for canvas.
