Richard Ernest Nored
August 4, 1938 – June 5, 2014
BOWIE – Richard Ernest Nored, 75, died June 5, 2014 at Advanced Rehabilitation Center in Bowie, TX.
The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. June 8 at The White Family Funeral Home.
Graveside service was at 2 p.m. June 9 at Tage Cemetery in Bowie with Doyle Wade officiating.
Nored was born Aug. 4, 1938 to Hobert and Rose Nored in Bowie. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He lived his life as an entrepreneur and had several successful businesses and an optimist spirit.
He is survived by his son, Richie Nored, Rowlett; daughter, Stacy Rice, McKinney; four grandchildren; sister, Margie Hudson, Bowie; two brothers, Wayne Nored, Bowie and Jerry Nored, Amarillo.

Kelley Denise Barry Hudson
September 1, 1961 – February 7, 2026
DECATUR – Kelley Denise Barry Hudson, 64, went to be with her Lord on Feb. 7, 2026 in Fort Worth, TX.
A celebration of life is will be at noon on Feb. 14 at the Bowie Community Center.
Burial will be at a future date.
Kelley was born Sept. 1, 1961 to George William and Maurine Elizabeth (Bowden) Barry in Bowie. She was united in marriage to Joey Glenn “Joe” Dickey, happily married for 17 years. Kelley graduated from Bowie High School and worked at CVS Pharmacy for 29 years. She was a beloved wife, mother, Tootie, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe Dickey, Decatur; son, Randy Hudson and Emma Halfmann, Bowie; granddaughter, Harlei Hudson, Bowie; brother, Preston “Pete” Barry and wife Nancy, Florida; three sisters, Charity Swafford and Oliver Emment, Bridgeport, Cindy Strobel and husband Dave, Kemp, and Belva Miller and husband Bill, Chandler, AZ; extended family members, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Evelyn Juanell Haile
September 25, 1939 – February 6, 2026
BOWIE – Evelyn Juanell Haile, 86, slipped into the arms of Jesus on Feb. 6, 2026 at Hospice of Wichita Falls, TX.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Feb. 12 at the First Baptist Church of Bowie with Bro. Mike Henson officiating.
Burial will follow Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
Evelyn was born on Sept. 25, 1939 to Rube and Violet Stewart in Proffit, Young County. In 1957, she married Harold Seth Haile. They were happily married for 64 years. He was the love of her life, her business partner and best friend.
Evelyn, along with her husband, Harold, owned and operated Bowie Dozer Service for 33 years, with offices in both Bowie and Decatur.
Evelyn answered to many different names throughout her lifetime; “J” as Harold called her, “Mrs. E” by the Bowie Dozer employees, but “Mom and Nannie” were her favorites.
She will always be remembered for her love of family and the way she made every gathering special but mostly for her life of faith and her love of her Lord Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold S. Haile; parents, Rube and Violet Stewart; and grandson, Chris Darden.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Lesia Darden and husband, Roy; son, Craig Haile and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Landon Sims and wife Erika, Leah Walton and husband Rob, Matt Haile and wife Elizabeth, Kayla Burnett and husband Wes, Larry Don Byas and Nikki Sosa; great-grandchildren, Addy Sims, Brody Sims, Delainey Walton, Hadleigh Walton, McKinley Walton, Eloise Haile, Hattie, Haile, Sophie Haile, Numa Burnett, Wells Burnett, Banks Burnett, Garrett Darden, Ella Darden, Bailey Young and husband Klay, Bella Sosa and Jaiden Brown; brother, Leroy Stewart; sister-in-law, Betty Weimer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Mylea Wadsworth, Tina Betts and the nurses at Hospice of Wichita Falls for their love and care during her illness.

David Condel Broyles
July 30, 1944 – February 2, 2026
ALVARADO – David Condel Broyles, 81, died on Feb. 2, 2026 in Alvarado, TX.
A visitation was Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home in Alvarado. There was another visitation from 6-7 p.m. on Feb. 6 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
A funeral service was at 11 a.m. on Feb. 7 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home in Nocona. Interment followed at the Nocona Cemetery.
He was born to David Britton Broyles and Hazel Jeanette Franks Broyles on July 30, 1944. He was a graduate of Prairie Valley High School. He was a superintendent with Ed Bell Construction.
David was the beloved husband of Karen Marie Long Broyles, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. They had a daughter, Donna Herod and two grandchildren, Koby Herod and Kasey Herod Castillo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Britton Broyles and Hazel Jeanette Franks Broyles; and sister, Sharon Gayle Sanders.
He is survived by his sister, Dava Lynn Williams; one nephew; one neice; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
