Ismail speaks at MSU Sunday

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Raghib “Rocket” Ismail will be the guest speaker at the eighth annual Midwestern State University Athletics welcome back dinner Sunday at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The event will begin with an enhanced silent auction and social gathering at 5:30 p.m.
There will be Dallas Cowboy and Midwestern State memorabilia auctioned off, plus other valuable items as well.
Branding Iron is catering the dinner that begins at 6 p.m., and Ismail will speak 45 minutes later.
Reserve your seat by submitting $70 for a student-athlete sponsorship. A limited number of complete tables accommodating six people with sponsor acknowledgement can be purchased for $250. Additional seats are available at $40 apiece.
Ismail played for the Cowboys from 1999-2001. He also played for the Carolina Panthers and the Raiders, finishing his career with 363 catches, 5,295 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns.
Ismail gained notoriety while a wide receiver at Notre Dame, and finished as runner-up for the Heisman Trophy twice.
Raghib Ismail’s brothers are Qadry “The Missile” Ismail, a former NFL receiver, and Sulaiman “The Bomb” Ismail, who played his college football at Texas-El Paso.
