Orioles rough up Red Sox’ Workman

The Baltimore Orioles roughed up Boston Red Sox pitcher Brandon Workman during a rare mid-week September matinee on Wednesday at Fenway Park.
The Orioles chased Workman with a six-run third inning, and Baltimore went on to a 10-6 victory.
Currently, the Orioles lead the American League East Division while Boston resides in the basement.
Craig Breslow replaced Workman.
Five of the six runs Workman surrendered with earned. He allowed six hits while walking three and striking out three. On the positive side, he didn’t allow a home run. Read more in the weekend edition of The Bowie News.
