Tales ‘N’ Trails breaks ground on new agriculture exhibit barn

Published

on

Tales ‘N’ Trails Museum in Nocona conducted a groundbreaking ceremony last Thursday for its new agriculture exhibit barn. Milta Carter turned the first spade of dirt in honor of her late husband Frances Lindell. The Bowie couple are longtime supporters of the museum and Frances was an active volunteer. Milta made a memorial donation to the project and a room inside the barn will be named in honor of Frances. Fundraising for the project that will house many of the museum’s agriculture artifacts is continuing as the foundation and framing begins. A drawing of the plans can be seen at the museum or call 825-5330 for details. (News photo by Barbara Green)
