City of Bowie buying former Wellington Bank land

City of Bowie has purchased the tract of land at the corner of Mason and Orchard, formerly the planned location of a new Wellington State Bank branch.
City Manager Ricky Tow confirmed Monday the sale has been finalized between Bowie and the bank headquartered in Wellington, TX.
