Bowie Chamber Chair Affair very entertaining
The Bowie Chamber of Commerce conducted the second annual Chair Affair last Saturday night with a variety of unique chair designs up for auction. Guests enjoyed live music from the Pearl Street Combo, semi-silent auctions and food in this chamber member appreciation dinner and fundraiser. See more photos in the mid-week News.
The bid boards get crowded as the time ticks away to make a pitch to buy a chair.

The Bowie Rural Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual fish fundraiser on Sept. 28 with serving starting at 5:30 p.m. until it’s gone at the Bowie Community Center.
The event includes a prize drawing, auction and live band with all proceeds going to the Bowie Rural VFD.
