Patsy’s House fundraiser Saturday morning

Published

on

Patsy’s House will present its Pinwheels for Patsy’s House fundraiser event on April 16.

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the event will take place at First Baptist Church of Bowie.

There will be free hot dogs, face painting, fire trucks, police cars and sheriff’s office vehicles, along with booths with games.

Patsy’s House is a children’s advocacy center with locations in Wichita Falls and Bowie.

Pinwheels and T-shirts will be sold. A donation of $20 per pinwheel will go to help continue to provide essential services to child abuse victims and their non-offending family members in the area.

The goal is to have the pinwheels placed in the ground equal the number of child abuse cases reported to Child Protective Services in 2015.

Those with questions can call 940-322-8890 or stop by the district attorney’s office in the Montague. Information on Patsy’s House can be found at: www.patsyshouse.org.
